In February 2026, two researchers from the ICM Lab successfully completed their degrees.
Jeonghyeun earned his doctoral degree with a dissertation titled “Understanding Construction Workers' Unsafe Behavior: Intentional and Unintentional Dimensions for Mitigation”. He joined the ICM Lab in 2019 and was an inspiring senior who provided great guidance to all the ICM Lab researchers. Also, he always brightened the lab's atmosphere and brought laughter. We hope that he continue success in his research and a fulfilling life ahead. Congratulations, Jeonghyeun!
Hyeonju, who has been working as an undergraduate research assistant since 2024, successfully completed his bachelor’s degree in the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering. He also graduated with highest honors from the College of Engineering. After graduation, he will join the ICM Lab as a master’s student through the combined bachelor's-master's degree program. We look forward to continuing our journey with you, Hyeonju!
Once again, thank you to both of our graduating members for the happiness and laughter you have brought to the lab. The ICM Lab will always remember you!
